The Ladybird Beetle, or Lady Bug, as we love to call her, is easily identifiable by her ever so fashionable red wings and black spots. She is a friend of the garden as she has an insatiable appetite for aphids, greenflies, and scale. They are actually sold by the bagful to keepers of the gardens.
